Barcelon & Jang have had the privilege to participate
in the design and construction of a number of educational facilities
whose mission has been to provide a venue for excellence in
public education and institutions for higher learning. The
depth of their work in education architecture not only focuses
on classroom and administration development, but also gymnasium
buildings and multi-level academic facilities. Belle
Haven Library & Administration exemplifies the firm’s
commitment to community and education. This unique venture
involved collaboration between the City of Menlo Park and the
Ravenswood City School District to facilitate shared use of
the library between the public and school. A successful
collaboration of Barcelon & Jang and EHDD Architects was
recognized in the award-winning Tenderloin Community School,
Children’s Center, & Community Services Facility. The
firm is working for the City College of San Francisco on several
campus projects including the new for Chinatown North Beach
Campus.
