Pence Gallery Association in partnership with the City of Davis created a new state-of-the-art museum gallery that intends to enhance the cultural climate and the economic development of downtown Davis, California. Barcelon & Jang of San Francisco, known for their adeptness at designing galleries and museums has master planned and developed the two-story building, incorporating the onsite amphitheater and outdoor sculpture areas. The new museum features special exhibitions while displaying work by local and emerging artists. As a facility with advanced environmental controls, flexible lighting and modern security measures, the Pence Gallery will attract special traveling exhibitions.
